Cannabis Corn Syrup

There are a variety of Cannabis Corn Syrup recipes that call for anywhere from ¼ ounce to 4 ounces of cannabis per 6 cups of corn syrup. The potency of the recipes on this site depends on the concentration of cannabis in your essential ingredient. The amount of cannabis in the recipe below is just a suggestion and can be modified according to your personal dosage.

Time Required: 4 hours (recommended minimum)

What You Need:

  • large saucepan or crock pot
  • 3 cups Light Corn Syrup
  • 1 ounce finely ground cannabis
  • cheesecloth
  • spoon
  • Tupperware container with lid
  • rubber band (one that will stretch around the rim of your Tupperware)

Steps:

  1. Pour the Light Corn Syrup in the saucepan or crock pot and set on low/medium heat.
  2. Let the syrup warm up until it is hot but make sure it does not boil.
  3. Add your finely ground cannabis to the hot syrup.
  4. Stir the cannabis frequently as it soaks for at least 4 hours. Do not let it boil.
  5. Prepare your Tupperware container by taking 2 sheets of the cheesecloth and securing it over the lid of the bowl using the rubber band. Turn heat off and let mixture cool down slightly.
  6. Pour the cannabis corn syrup mix slowly over the top of the cheesecloth and into the container. Repeat this step as necessary to strain all of the plant from the syrup.
  7. Allow syrup to cool. Store the Cannabis Corn Syrup in an airtight container and keep it in a cool, dark place.
