Whole Wheat Canna-Applesauce Cookies

Time Required: 25 minutes

Yields 20 Cookies

What You Need:

  • baking sheet, greased
  • ¾ cup Whole Wheat CannaFlour
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Splenda
  • 2 tablespoons corn oil
  • ½ cup natural unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, finely chopped
 

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Sift together whole wheat Cannaflour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg.
  3. Stir in sugar, Splenda, corn oil and applesauce. Fold in the walnuts.
  4. Drop small rounded bars of cookie dough on greased baking sheet. Bake in oven for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
